Badlands
Far from the city, out in the desert, you will find the Badlands. Residents of the Badlands live a mostly peaceful life, but they are able to defend themselves better than anyone. Being far from the city means that residents have prioritized survivability and transportation at all costs. Badlands residents have access to the best armor and consumables in the game as well as the ability to own horses.
While this may sound great, the Badlands were originally outcasts from the city, but have since claimed this land as their own. The Badlands do not have any prebuilt homes like the other neighborhoods, but will have plenty of land and storage to build their own along with their community. As a result, neighborhood upgrades will cost significantly less.
The Badlands upgrade path will primarily focus on armor and consumables, as well as unlocking additional modes of transportation to get around the world quickly. Shops within this area will contain armor and consumables that will scale with the neighborhood’s upgrade level.
